KM in the AM: Building Partnerships for Research and Knowledge Mobilization

Food Security

At YRFN we recognize that food security or insecurity, is about income and access to healthy food. For that reason we endeavour to work in the community in a number of different ways to address injustice and income inequity and create opportunities for all residents to be able to access healthy food.

Joan Stonehocker, Executive Director, York Region Food Network

You are warmly invited to attend a morning discussion on the topic of Food Security. This event has been organized by the Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) Unit at York University, which operates in partnership with the United Way of York Region.
