The York Region Food Charter is getting a revamp and we need your help! It has been ten years since the launch of the York Region Food Charter, and a lot has changed in our regional food system. The Food Charter is a guiding document for the development of coordinated food-related policies and programs in York Region with a current focus on health and well-being, economic opportunities, environmental sustainability, education and skills, and equity and social justice.

The York Region Food Charter is under review and we want to hear from you! Join the York Region Food Council on November 30th at 6:30pm for an interactive evening and share your insight with us. A light dinner will be provided. Doors open at 6:00 pm. All are welcome!
