The York Region Food Council meets quarterly to strengthen the York Region food system. They envision a community where health and social justice are prioritized, and all residents have economic and physical access to healthy, local, culturally acceptable and environmentally sustainable food. The Council views this work through a lens of diversity, equity and inclusion.
