We are pleased to introduce a new fundraiser, The Charitable Chef! The next Charitable Chef experience is November 19, 2020
This is a great way to explore a delicious three-course meal curated by a local culinary talent while also supporting York Region Food Network’s community food programs.
Here’s how it works…
On November 19 from 6:00-8:00pm we are thrilled to have Chef Maxine Knight lead a 2 hour virtual cook-along experience. In this virtual cook-along, the menu is planned for you and we will give you all the ingredients you need for two servings of the menu.
A few days before the event, you will receive an email with details about what basic cooking equipment you’ll need and the ZOOM link.
On the day of the cook-along, pop by York Region Food Network between 10:00am and 5:00pm to pick up your ingredient kit. From there, login to ZOOM at 5:50pm and prepare for a fun and memorable night of food.
Next Charitable Chef experience:
When: Thursday, November 19 from 6:00-8:00pm
Curry Squash and Apple Soup
Stewed Chicken (Stewed Red beans)
With Coconut Rice and Coleslaw with Mango
Barbados Pound Cake
We are so thrilled to have Chef Maxine Knight lead this virtual cook-along.
We hope you’ll join us for dinner!
