Good Food Box

York Region Food Network’s Good Food Box program offers fresh, quality fruits and vegetables from our local farmers at 19th Avenue. We purchase produce at wholesale pricing and pass that pricing along to you! The Good Food Box is available on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Orders and payment are due one week prior to each pickup date. Pick-up is available in Aurora, Markham, Richmond Hill and Stouffville.

How this program works

We work with local suppliers and farmers to purchase good quality produce.

York Region Food Network’s Good Food Box program is open to everyone.

As much as possible, fruits and vegetables offered in the Good Food Box are grown in York Region or Ontario. Yet at times (winter months), we will have produce from farther abroad just so we can offer some variety.

The Good Food Box is available for pick-up on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The contents of each box are different and will change based on seasonal availability. Each Good Food Box contains 6-8 types of fruits and vegetables and cost $18 (plus PayPal fees). The boxes are packed in Aurora by YRFN staff and a team of volunteers.

Good Food Box orders can be placed online or in-person with a York Region Food Network staff. When ordering, please indicate which location you will pick up your order from– Aurora, Markham, Richmond Hill or Stouffville. We are currently looking into opening other partner locations across York Region. If you have the space and are interested to host, staff and fund a Good Food Box site, please contact for more information.
